I am a dedicated mental health practitioner who brings together the precision of science and the compassion of human connection. With two Master’s degrees—one in Clinical Psychology and another in Cognitive Neuroscience—I offer a deeply informed and integrative approach to emotional well-being. My training allows me to understand not only how the mind works, but how thoughts, emotions, and behaviours interact across different life stages, personalities, and social environments.

What sets my practice apart is my belief that therapy is not about offering quick fixes or one-size-fits-all solutions. It’s about meeting you exactly where you are—with care, respect, and curiosity. I create a space that is safe, inclusive, and tailored to your story. Whether you are facing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, burnout, relationship struggles, grief, or simply feel stuck, I help you slow down, reflect, and reconnect with your inner strength.

Description

My work draws from a wide range of therapeutic tools and techniques, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), statistical assessments, and mindfulness-based strategies. I also integrate creative and somatic modalities such as art and music-based interventions, colour therapy, and pet-assisted support. I consider wellness as a mind-body experience, and often include guidance around nutrition, movement, and lifestyle shifts as part of the healing process.

Every session is shaped to your unique pace and needs—whether you’re seeking clarity, emotional relief, personal growth, or a deeper understanding of yourself. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you build resilience, self-awareness, and tools that support long-term emotional health.

At the core of my work is a simple truth: no emotion is too small, and no struggle is too trivial. I listen with empathy, respond with science, and support with compassion. Because therapy should feel like a place where you can simply be—honestly, fully, and safely—while being gently guided toward the version of yourself you’re ready to become.

Anjanaa Subramanian

My professional journey began in physical therapy, where I specialized in chronic pain syndromes. Over time, I noticed a significant connection between chronic pain and various metabolic disorders among my patients. To improve my approach, I integrated nutritional sciences into my clinical practice. As I evolved, I observed a growing demand from patients seeking guidance on managing and potentially reversing metabolic conditions such as diabetes, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and fibromyalgia. In response, I decided to further my education in functional medicine and natural therapies. Currently, I am dedicated to empowering individuals to reclaim their health through targeted interventions aimed at modifying and reversing metabolic and lifestyle-related diseases. My practice is centered around a holistic framework that combines my expertise in physical therapy, nutritional science, and integrative health. This allows me to develop comprehensive and personalized interventions that address the complex nature of disease and promote long-term wellness.
