Description
I am a proud graduate with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the prestigious Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University, where I received rigorous training in a variety of physiotherapy practices. My professional journey has led me to specialize in several impactful areas. In cancer physiotherapy, I work to develop tailored rehabilitation programs that address the unique challenges faced by cancer patients, helping them regain strength, improve mobility, and enhance their overall quality of life during and after treatment.
In addition, I have a strong focus on geriatric physiotherapy, recognizing the vital importance of maintaining independence and preventing falls among the elderly. Through comprehensive assessments and individualized exercise plans, I aim to promote safety, mobility, and physical well-being in older adults, empowering them to lead active lives.
Furthermore, I have obtained a certification in weight loss management from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). This credential enables me to integrate effective strategies for sustainable weight loss into my practice, supporting clients in their journey toward better health and fitness.
My internship at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, provided me with invaluable hands-on experience in a clinical environment. During this time, I collaborated with experienced physiotherapists, honing my skills in patient assessment and treatment, and gaining insights into the therapeutic needs of diverse populations. This experience solidified my commitment to promoting health and rehabilitation through evidence-based practices in physiotherapy.
