Description
My name is Pooja Lodhi, and I am a clinical psychologist with a Bachelor’s (Honours) in Psychology and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology. I bring over three and a half years of clinical experience working in diverse settings, including as a school counselor, special educator, and clinical psychologist, where I have engaged with populations ranging from children to older adults.
My clinical expertise lies in the assessment and intervention of mood disorders, including Major Depressive Disorder and Bipolar Disorder, as well as anxiety disorders and schizophrenia spectrum disorders. I also address complex grief and place a strong emphasis on promoting mental health literacy, particularly among individuals with developmental disorders and the elderly.
Employing evidence-based, trauma-informed care, I tailor my therapeutic modalities to align with the specific needs of each client, focusing on empowering them through effective coping strategies and resilience-building techniques. I prioritize ongoing professional development and community outreach to remain current with advancements in mental health methodologies, aiming to facilitate individuals’ navigation of psychological challenges and foster emotional well-being.
